Members of sta昀昀 from the
Anglian Waterways Team
attended the Crick Boat Show
over the May Bank Holiday
weekend from Friday 24th
May through to Monday 27th
May 2023.
The organisers estimated
around 10,000 people were
there over the weekend with
many of them arriving on boats.
The Environment Agency had
a stand where we had some
excellent conversations with
many boaters, several who were
interested in mooring their boat
in Northampton Marina as well
as many others wanting to come
Crick Boat Show is Britain’s biggest inland
waterways festival. Held at Crick Marina, Crick,
Northants, the show takes place annually on
the Grand Union Canal. The festival provides the
opportunity for boat-builders and sellers to promote
new and second-hand boats to visitors considering
buying a boat. You can also enjoy free boat trips
along the Grand Union Canal, and boat-handling
courses which are available for an additional fee.

the wider Anglian waterways.
We were able to hand out
our navigation maps for our
waterways as well as other
literature.
