Suffolk Sports Awards 2019
It is our pleasure to welcome you to the 14th Suffolk
Sports Awards, here at the luxurious Kesgrave Hall. The
Suffolk Sports Awards is brought to you by Active Suffolk,
in collaboration with Harrod Sport and media partner BBC
Radio Suffolk. Tonight we are celebrating Suffolk’s sporting
talent, clubs and the heroes who work, often unnoticed,
as volunteers for the love of their sport.

Thank you to the representatives

judging panel and came together to
assess all of the nominations and
create a shortlist for the public vote.
The quality of nominations this year
was truly outstanding, making their
decisions particularly difficult. But
the biggest thank you must go to all
of the members of the public that
not only took the time to submit the
nominations but also to vote for their
shortlisted sporting heroes. Our voting
polls received almost 10,000 votes and
it has been truly fantastic to see so
much interest in local sporting talent.
Those that submitted nominations and
those that voted have helped us to
raise the profile of the excellent work
going on in sport across the county and
have made a significant contribution to
helping Suffolk become England’s Most
Active County.
