Our core areas of service/projects
Primary Role
Marketing
Our primary role encompasses all the work we do
at Active Suffolk, supporting our project areas and
continuing to commit to ongoing organisational
development.
Our marketing function supports our project
areas with the promotion of news, events and
activities relating to our strategic aims, as well
as supporting the wider sector.
Insight
Sports Awards
Utilising insight to develop projects and understanding,
while developing our evaluation process. We frequently
share key insight with stakeholders around specific
topic areas, such as deprivation, childhood obesity and
demographics.
Active Suffolk host the annual Suffolk Sports
Awards in partnership with BBC Radio
Suffolk, to honour and highlight the sporting
achievements in Suffolk over the previous 12
months.
Children and young people
Active Suffolk work to empower younger people across the county to be active, to volunteer in sport and
ensure that safeguarding procedures are understood adhered to within the sports sector.

young people aged 14-19 from
underrepresented groups. Active
