Chair’s Comments
I am honoured and it gives me great
pleasure to introduce the 2021/ 22 Active
Suffolk Annual Impact Report. As chair of
Active Suffolk, I am delighted to be able
to reflect on the successes, achievements,
and resilience of the organisation after
what has proven to be another challenging,
and at times unpredictable year.
This report demonstrates the growth the
organisation has had in the last twelve
months, as the team continue to maintain
and build new relationships with a broad
range of partners. Their continued success
to identify and distribute funding to
organisations who support those affected by
inequalities has been undeniable, whilst the
teams ongoing passion and drive to improve
health and wellbeing through increased
participation in physical activity is highlighted
once more.
I would like to thank the many individuals
and organisations that have supported both
Active Suffolk and its shared vision during
the last 12 months. This Annual Impact
Report for 2021/22 sets out just some of the
many collaborative achievements during the
year and I look forward to another successful
year and to working with all our partners to
realise our collective ambitions.
