Our Facilities
Stowmarket High opened this year in its brand new
£17 Million facilities, built by the Government’s
Priority School’s Building Programme. At the
heart of the school is a stunning 3 storey atrium,
complete with a huge media screen and classic
grand piano! With specialist facilities for PE, drama,
photography, design technology, food, music, art,
graphics and textiles, plus the retention of the
sixth form block, the school is all set to write a
new page in the long history of Stowmarket. Set
in nearly 9 hectares of land, we benefit from joint
use of the sports hall, astro turf pitch and squash
courts in the leisure centre, and we are currently
working closely with a range of partners on what
we hope to be a significant development in the
sports provision on the site.
